Terms and conditions

The same promises made across this site, written formally. The written quote for each project always comes first.

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the site and any project you undertake with Cipher. Each project's details are set out in a written quote, and where the two conflict, the written quote applies.

Prices and quotes

Starting prices apply to the basic scopes described on the site; they are not final offers or maximum prices. Larger projects are quoted by requirements. The written proposal specifies scope, cost and offer validity before payment; the approved price is fixed for the agreed scope.

Payment

Payments follow agreed project milestones, with amounts and due dates documented before work starts. There is no single payment split for every project.

Scope and revisions

  • The scope of work is what the quote says.
  • The proposal specifies the review rounds and their scope at each stage. Additions outside that scope are estimated and approved in writing before implementation.
  • Any new request outside the scope is quoted separately before it is done — no surprises.

Delivery dates

The delivery date is written in the quote and we hold to it. It also depends on receiving your content and feedback on time — if we are delayed waiting on something from you, the date moves by the same amount.

Ownership

  • The domain, hosting and accounts are registered in your name from day one.
  • Once paid in full, the delivered work and your data are entirely yours.
  • We only show your work in our portfolio with your permission.

Third-party costs

The domain, hosting, payment gateway fees, ad budgets and any paid add-ons are paid by you directly to those providers, and are written into the quote before work starts.

Support after delivery

Support coverage, duration and contact arrangements are set out in the proposal. Ongoing maintenance and new features are scoped separately.

SEO and advertising results

We commit to documented work and transparent reporting — but we do not guarantee any specific Google ranking or advertising result, because those platforms make the final decision.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel after work has started, the deposit covers the work done up to the point of cancellation. If we are the ones unable to continue, we refund what you paid for work not delivered.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Egyptian law.

Updates

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the last-updated date. Projects with an accepted quote continue under that quote's terms.
