How to Choose an SEO Company in Egypt

Choosing an SEO company starts with understanding the work and how progress will be measured. Use these criteria to compare proposals and set expectations.

Every site has different technical, content and audience needs. Compare SEO proposals by the plan, deliverables and measurement approach as well as cost.

Ask for written priorities, ownership of measurement accounts, and a process for reviewing results and adapting the plan.

Six things to check before agreeing

  • Ranking promises: a first-place ranking cannot be guaranteed. Ask what work the provider commits to delivering.
  • Timing: ask for an explanation grounded in your site and its competition. A quick promise is not enough to assess a plan.
  • Transparency: you should understand what will be done and why, and receive records of completed work.
  • Measurement: agree on visibility, visits and qualified enquiries, rather than just one keyword ranking.
  • Contract and ownership: check the term, cancellation conditions and ownership of content and accounts. Contract length alone does not determine service quality.
  • Link policies: avoid buying links to manipulate rankings; review practices against Google spam policies.

What real SEO is made of

Any serious SEO plan must cover the following — ask about each one:

  1. A technical audit: site speed, structure, mobile experience, and anything stopping Google from understanding the site.
  2. Keyword research: what your customers actually type — not what you imagine they type.
  3. Content: pages and articles that answer your customers' questions, published consistently.
  4. Local visibility: if your business serves an area, Google Business and Maps are often the most important piece.
  5. Links: gradual, safe link building from sites relevant to your field.
  6. Measurement: real tracking of the visits, calls and orders that come from search.

How long do results really take?

Results depend on the site, competition and implementation. Some changes can be noticed quickly, while others may take several months to assess. Agree on regular reviews of completed work and observed changes instead of a fixed deadline for a guaranteed ranking.

Start with topics relevant to your audience and business. Local searches and specific questions may be useful opportunities, but they do not guarantee faster results for every site.

What a monthly report must contain

If the report you receive is missing any of these, ask for them:

  • Your rankings for target keywords — this month compared with last.
  • Visits that came from search, not from ads.
  • Calls, messages and orders that came from search — the most important line.
  • The work done this month, in detail.
  • Next month's plan.

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. What exactly will you do in the first three months?
  2. How will you measure success — rankings, visits or orders?
  3. Can I stop at any time, and does the work done stay mine?
  4. Can I see a real monthly report for another client (with their details removed)?
